About Monoprix
Founded in 1932, Monoprix is a renowned French brand offering the best of food retailing along with household items, perfumes, gift items and more. While Monoprix is present in around 85% of all French towns, its international presence is also growing through acquisitions and the development of international franchises, notably in the Middle East and North Africa.
In Qatar, Monoprix was introduced in 2013 and is represented by Ali Bin Ali Holding. The French retail chain has three stores in the country – West Bay, The Pearl – Qatar and Doha Festival City. Reflecting the company’s ambitious plans for the country and region, Monoprix opened its largest hypermarket in the world at Doha Festival City recently. Along with the outlet at Palm Towers, West Bay and Medina Centrale, The Pearl – Qatar offering a wide range of products and introduces a concept that creates a variety of dedicated in-store experiences for the clientele.
About monop’
Since 2005, the monop’ brand has been meeting new local requirements of our active urban customers. The monop’ stores are located in urban areas with a great deal of foot traffic such as business and residential districts. With nearly 6000 products references, they provide a high quality, innovative and varied product offer. monop’ sets itself apart through its range of extended services as extended working hours. Launched in 2019, monop’ stores are present in Le Boulevard, Al sadd and Porto Arabia, Tower 13, The Pearl –Qatar
Coming Soon
The French retail chain is continuously expanding its presence in Qatar. The Hypermarket will soon open the first Monoprix in Qatar with the SMART Retail Solution at Msheireb Downtown Doha. Lusail - Qatar's City of the future – will also get its very own Monoprix in the near future.
